Male and female players aged 18 to 23 years who have represented or won medals in recognised competitions between 30 September 2024 and 30 September 2026 can apply online until 11 November 2026. Head Constable needs 10+2 and Constable needs 10th pass.

Eligibility in detail
For the CRPF Sports Quota Recruitment 2026, Head Constable applicants need 10+2 and must have represented India internationally, won a medal (top three) at a recognised National Games or national championship, finished first or second individually at the inter-university level, or won gold or silver at a junior national event. Constable applicants need 10th pass and must have represented a state at senior or junior national level, or competed at the school, university or Khelo India levels the notice lists. Only achievements from the two years before 30 September 2026 count. Age must be 18 to 23 years on 01-08-2026; a corrigendum of 13 October 2026 corrected the birth-date window to between 02-08-2003 and 01-08-2008.
Selection process
There is no written exam. Merit is based on marks for the single highest sports achievement. Shortlisted candidates go through identity checks, document verification, a Physical Standard Test (height 170 cm for men and 157 cm for women, with relaxations for listed categories), a sports trial test and a detailed medical examination.
