UPSSSC Inter Level Mains Recruitment 2026 – 1,784 Posts

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has issued Advertisement No. 26-Exam/2026 for the Combined Subordinate (Intermediate Level) Main Exam. It covers 1,784 posts in 12 post groups, the largest being Gram Vikas Adhikari (Samaj Kalyan) with 525 posts and Gram Panchayat Adhikari with 508.

Only candidates who appeared in PET-2025 and received a scorecard can apply, and they need the Intermediate qualification required for each post. Online applications run from 10 November to 1 December 2026, with corrections allowed until 8 December 2026.

Eligibility in detail

Every post needs the UP Board Intermediate exam or an equivalent. Gram Vikas Adhikari, Gram Panchayat Adhikari and Samaj Kalyan Parvekshak also need a CCC computer certificate from NIELIT or an equivalent. Farm Lipik needs three years of farming experience and Vikray Karta three years of sales experience, both with working Hindi in Devanagari. Two years in the Territorial Army or an NCC 'B' certificate gives preference.

Selection process

Shortlisting for the UPSSSC Inter Level Mains Recruitment 2026 is based on the normalised PET-2025 score, about 15 times the category-wise vacancies. A zero or negative PET score is not considered. The main exam has 100 objective questions in two hours, with a quarter mark deducted for each wrong answer. It covers general studies and Hindi (65 marks), computer and IT (15 marks) and UP general knowledge (20 marks).

How to apply

• Log in on upsssc.gov.in with your PET-2025 registration number and the OTP sent to your registered mobile or email.
• Select the posts you want and give your preference order.
• Pay the ₹25 processing fee by card, net banking, UPI or SBI e-challan by the last date, 1 December 2026.
• Download the submitted form. Fee reconciliation and corrections are allowed until 8 December 2026.

Important points

Only one application is allowed. Shortlisted candidates pay the main exam fee separately before downloading the admit card. Candidates whose PET-2025 result is under investigation can apply provisionally.
