Eligibility in detail
Technician 'B' needs Matriculation plus a two-year ITI in the trade. Technical Assistant needs a first-class diploma in the discipline, or a first-class B.Sc for the Physics and Chemistry posts. The trade-wise table in the notice also asks for two years of post-qualification experience. Junior Personal Assistant needs 12th class and a stenography skill of 80 words per minute. The officer posts need a degree or postgraduate qualification with long relevant experience. The upper age limit is 30 for Technical Assistant, 27 for Technician 'B', 25 for JPA and 35 for the officer posts, counted on the closing date.
Selection process
In the SCL Mohali Recruitment 2026, Technical Assistant and Technician 'B' candidates take a 200-mark computer-based test. Part A covers English, aptitude, reasoning and GK, and Part B is a trade-based test. Both parts carry a 0.25 negative mark, and a qualifying skill test follows. JPA selection is by CBT and a stenography test, and the officer posts by CBT and interview in a 60:40 ratio.
