The Staff Selection Commission notified the Junior Engineer Examination, 2026 on 2 September 2026 for Group 'B' Junior Engineer posts (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Telecom) in central departments, and for Scientific Assistant in IMD. All posts are in Pay Level 6 (Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400).
Online applications closed on 22 September 2026. Under SSC's revised dates of 26 October, Paper-I (CBE) runs from 2 to 6 November and from 30 November to 1 December 2026.
