- Engineers and Information Systems Officer: IDA Rs 50,000–1,60,000 (basic Rs 50,000), CTC about Rs 20 lakh per annum. Junior Officer (Official Language): IDA Rs 30,000–1,20,000. Secretarial: IDA Rs 80,000–2,20,000 (Manager) or Rs 90,000–2,40,000 (Senior Manager).

Post-wise vacancies
Advt. No. 02 of 2026 lists eight position codes: Engineer (Chemical), Engineer (Mechanical), Engineer (Electrical), Engineer (Civil), Engineer (Instrumentation), Officer (Information Systems), Junior Officer (Official Language) and Manager/Senior Manager (Secretarial). The total is 41, including a few backlog and carried-forward PwBD vacancies. The numbers are tentative and may change.
Eligibility in detail
- Engineer posts need a first-class engineering degree in the matching branch with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD against reserved posts), plus two years of post-qualification experience.
- The Junior Officer (Official Language) post needs an M.A. in Hindi, or in English with Hindi at degree level, with at least 60% marks.
- Upper age limit is 28 years for position codes 01 to 07, and 42 or 45 years for the Manager and Senior Manager (Secretarial) posts, as on 01-10-2026.
Selection process
For codes CPCL01 to CPCL06 there is a computer based test of 120 questions in 2 hours (50 aptitude and 70 discipline), with a 0.25 mark deduction for each wrong answer. Shortlisted candidates then go through a group discussion or group task and a personal interview, with weights of 85%, 5% and 10%. The Secretarial post is filled through group discussion and interview only.
Pay
Engineers join in Grade A on an initial basic pay of Rs 50,000 in the IDA scale of Rs 50,000–1,60,000. The notice gives an approximate CTC of Rs 20 lakh a year.
