🧪 Selection Process Details

The UPSC CSE selection process is rigorous and spans over a year. It is designed to test not only knowledge but also judgment, decision-making, and leadership skills.

1️⃣ Preliminary Examination

You need strong analytical skills and writing ability to excel here. Marks from the Mains exam contribute to your final rank.

3️⃣ Personality Test (Interview)

The final step is a 275-mark interview conducted by a panel at UPSC Bhavan in New Delhi.

Here, your personality, ethics, awareness, and clarity of thought are evaluated. The interview is not about facts—it's about your mindset and maturity.
